Where is Brandy Couponing To Next?

I am so excited to share my plans with you all!!! Even though my trip to Universal got postponed I am still trucking along with earning. At first I had planned on continuing to earn towards Universal then whatever was left over afterwards would go towards my next vacation.  I soon realized that wasn’t going to work for a few reasons. First, I might overspend while their since I would have more money than needed for that trip. Second, I am not very motivated to earn.

I spent some time trying to decide where I wanted to coupon to next. After checking my Pinterest dream vacation board. I narrowed it down to 3 destinations. My top 3 picks where Disney Christmas Cruise, Disney World, or DisneyLand. Then came the tough decision of picking one. Here is my thought process. Disney World is magnificent but since we had already been that one was out. That left Disney Christmas cruise or DisneyLand. The cruise sounds wonderful but doesn’t have rides. We are really into rides currently. Plus if we did the Christmas cruise it would be a 4 night sailing. I don’t want the kids to miss more school than they have to. Another factor in my decision making process we live in a warm climate. I don’t think it would be warm enough for my kids to enjoy the pools. That left DisneyLand!

I am not sure when we will go yet. That is going to depend on when we get to go Universal. I would like to space out my trips by at least 6 months. As of now, we are suppose to arrive at Universal May 31st – June 5th. Honestly I am not sure that is going to happen. Right now we are just playing the waiting game like many of you.

I like to have monetary goals to work towards that works better for me. This is all just a guess based off costs 6 months from now. It might go down or up. After I book I will fine tune my budget. Below is my projected budget.

Plane tickets – $2,000 ($400 per person)
DisneyLand package with hotel & tickets – $3665.04
Food – $1500.00
Souvenirs – $200.00
Total: $7565.04

I would like to achieve this goal in 24 months or less. That means I need to earn or find $315.21 a month.
