Have you ever wondered about Marceline, Missouri? Now you may be curious as to why this town has significance and what it has to do with Disney. Well, Marceline, Missouri happens to be the childhood hometown to Walt Disney!
Al though Walt Disney was not born here, he spent much us his boyhood in Merceline, Missouri when his family moved to the farm in 1906. This town left quite an impression on Walt Disney.
At the time of the 2010 census, the population of Marceline was just 2,221 people. This small town gives Disney fans many reasons to visit!
Recently, a SavEar shared photos of her visit to Walt Disney’s hometown. Within the town of Marceline is a museum to visit and Disney accents to look for on the original Main Street USA and more. Her ventures took her to other locations within town with Disney touches and a visit to his family farm. She highly recommends any Disney fan visiting Marceline, Missouri on a day trip if you get the chance.
