World of Disney and Marketplace Co-Op opened on Wednesday at Disney Springs. The wait to get into World of Disney reached 6 hours by 10:30 AM (Guests were allowed into the parking garage at 8 AM).
Cast Members were on hand to direct the line, which stretched from World of Disney all the way to Rainforest Cafe and then some.
Virtual queues were in place once you got through the long line. You gave your first name and last initial along with your cell phone and how many people would be entering the store.
Luckily by mid-afternoon the line to give your name for the virtual queue had died down. You were able to walk up and give your name and then return 2 hours later to shop.
During this time, the capacity at World of Disney is set at 200.
Once inside the stores, the shopping areas are marked with social distance guideline strips including areas like stuffed animals and candies.
Customers are encouraged not to handle the merchandise unless they intend to purchase it.
At the registers, social distance markers divide the customers by 6 feet and cashiers are protected by plexiglass.
Cashless payments are recommended.
They are also utilizing a separate entrance and exit for the store.
