Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a ticked event occurring each year on select nights in November & December. How to make the most out of your one magical night can be a challenge. However, with the price of party tickets guests will want to maximize their time during the party. Here are 10 tips to Maximize Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This includes what guests must see and do and other tips you may not know.
Party Starts At 7pm, Enter At 4pm
Although the party officially kicks off at 7pm, guests with party tickets can enter as early as 4pm. This essentially gives guests 3 bonus hours in Magic Kingdom. Use this time to eat a small dinner before the party starts and ride any attractions that many not be open during the party.

Map
Be sure to pick up or download an Event guide map, this will show guests which attractions and food locations are open. Also, learn show times, treat locations and more. This handy guide is a must have. Map out which entertainment and more you want to get done.
Rare Character Meet & Greets
Character Meet & Greets are a highlight of the party, guests will find favorite characters in their holiday attire and rare meet & greet opportunities. Consider spending your time waiting for a Character not normally found in the parks. A party favorite is often Moana who has made an appearance at the party for meet & greets in recent years. Plan to meet & greet with a rare character of your choice early in the evening or during the first parade.
A Frozen Holiday Wish
While there are other entertainment and stage shows to catch, one stands out. A Frozen Holiday Wish is a must see during the party, where guests can see Elsa transform Cinderella’s Castle into a Frozen spectacle. Take time to see this magical moment.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade does have 2 showings during the party, weather permitting. The parade is another must see, for dancing Gingerbread Men, Characters and more, plus even Santa! Go to the second showing of this parade, for a chance of less crowding.
Favorite Attractions
The party gives guests the opportunity to enjoy select favorite attractions with little to no wait. Take advantage of this and ride your favorite attraction more than once!
Treats
Do save your appetite for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party as the price of your ticket includes treats! Stop at one or all of the treat locations (and I recommend the latter). Guests will find treats such as Hot Cocoa, Eggnog, cookies and more.
Jingle Cruise
One particular attraction layover is only offered during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, when the Jungle Cruise becomes the Jingle Cruise. Guests will find holiday themed jokes and narration.
Snowing On Main St USA
Snow and Florida are typically not found in the same sentence. However, snow fall does occur (by the Magic of Disney) on Main St USA during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Be sure to catch the snowfall at least once on Main St USA, happening throughout the evening during the party.
Merchandise
Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party will have plenty of festive merchandise hoping to get you to reach for your wallet. A guest favorite is the light up Christmas Bulb Necklaces, priced at $15 dollars each. For a group all buying one, this gets pricey. Consider purchasing these prior to your trip, I have seen them at many retailers during Christmas such as Target, Walmart and even the Dollar Tree!
