Walt Disney Company has committed to helping The Bahamas rebuild after the recent Hurricane Dorian. To help with rebuilding of homes and communities, Walt Disney Company (led by Disney Cruise Line) has announced to commit more than $1 Million for relief and recovery efforts in The Bahamas.
Included in donation are non-profit relief agencies with food and basic construction supplies to rebuild impacted areas.
Bob Iger, Chairman and CEO, stated –
“The Walt Disney Company stands with the people of The Bahamas affected by Hurricane Dorian.” He went on to say, “We hope our $1 million donation will provide much-needed relief and help our neighbors, colleagues, and all those impacted by this devastating storm begin the long process of recovery as they work to put their lives and communities back together.”
