Disney World is full of many excellent dining choices, including sit-down, lounges, incredible quick service and more. Below are common guest questions about dining at Disney. Including cost and price increases in effect for 2019.
1. What times does Disney Transportation start for Early Dining reservations?
Guests staying at Walt Disney World resorts are offered the benefit of Disney transportation, including the monorails, boats and buses. Disney transportation typically begins 45-60 minutes before parks opening time. Those with early advanced dining reservations (ADR’s) will want to plan accordingly.
In past guest experiences busses are out and running up to 2 hours before parks opening. However, there is sometimes only 1 early morning bus heading to the park you need to get to. Therefore, its best to check in with the front desk when you arrive at your resort and let them know you have an early ADR and will need transportation.
2. How much should I tip at Disney?
Eating at a Table service restaurant means factoring in a tip. The standard rate is still 15% for good service and 18%-20% for excellent service. Disney will automatically add 18% to your bill for parties of 6 or more. Also, while adding a dining plan covers your meals, tipping on the dining plan needs to be paid for additionally.
