Visiting Pandora – World of Avatar is a unique experience at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Here, guests can ride on the back of a Banshee and in the evening, the plants come to life. Learn the 5 mistakes guests commonly make when visiting Pandora – World of Avatar.
1. Not Waiting In Line For Avatar Flight Of Passage
Located inside Pandora – World of Avatar is where guests can find Avatar Flight of Passage. This is your chance to fly on the back of a Banshee on a thrilling 3D ride. This attraction also has an amazing queue. Most of the queue is missed with a Fastpass+. Therefore, I recommend waiting in line at least once for Avatar Flight of Passage.
2. Not Visiting Pandora At Night
Pandora World of Avatar is an amazing site during the day with floating mountains and waterfalls. However, guests experiencing Pandora in the evening will truly see the magic. This is because at night, Pandora glows with bioluminescent plants and lit walkways.
3. Not Dining At Satu’li Canteen
Visiting the former RDA mess hall is a must. Learn even more of the Na’vi and dive into their culture with another sense, of taste, at Satu’li Canteen. This casual eatery has plenty of seating for guests. Also, stay for dessert as the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse is a must try.
4. Not Getting Magic Shots
Look around Disney World Parks and Disney Springs and find many PhotoPass Photographers waiting to take your picture. These are included with your Memory Maker purchase or can be purchased individually (buy before your trip and the cost is less than adding it while at the parks).
Where To Ask For Pandora Magic Shots:
- Daytime Only – Banshee Magic Shot, stationed in front of the floating mountains.
- After Dark Only – Woodsprite Magic Shot, throughout Pandora.
5. Not Playing Drums
Located in Pandora World of Avatar there is a place that brings guests of all ages together, the drums. Do not make the mistake of passing these by. The drums are a way to interact with the land of Pandora, celebrate nature and are just fun. Plus throughout the day, watch the Na’vi Drum Ceremony.
