If you are going to be on vacation on your big day, here are 5 ways to celebrate your birthday at Walt Disney World.
5. Get A Birthday Button – Stop by Guest Services in any of the theme parks to get your FREE Birthday Button. Wear it proudly and you will get birthday wishes from Cast Members and guests.
4. Put It On Your Dining Reservations – If you call Disney at 407-WDW-DINE, they can note what you are celebrating on your dining reservations. When you dine, you might just get a free cupcake.
3. Order A Specialty Cake – If you are dining at a table-service restaurant, you can order a six inch celebration cake at check-in for $21.00 plus tax. Just let the Cast Member checking you in know that you would like to purchase one.
You can special-order a cake at Walt Disney World by calling 407-827-2253 between 3-28 days before you will need the cake. Prices start at $15 (for a single serve) and go up from there. The cake can be delivered to specific restaurants or to your room if your resort offers private dining. Learn more about ordering cakes from Disney at Disney Travel Babble.
2. Purchase Happy Birthday Ears – What better way to celebrate your birthday then by letting everyone know with your own pair of Happy Birthday Mouse Ears. These can be found at La Cheapu on Main Street or any other gift shop that sells mouse ears.
1. Celebrate With Your Family – The best part about celebrating your birthday at Walt Disney World is spending time with your family. If you are a parent, seeing the joy on your child’s face is gift enough. We spent my 30th birthday at Disneyland and I enjoyed getting to watch them have fun and experience the magic. It is the best gift you can give yourself.
