Disney World is massive. Unless you are able to stay for months you will not be able to see and do everything. Therefore, use your time at Disney World wisely and skip attractions that are a waste of time. Disney World is home to amazing attractions & experiences, however these 7 are not up to par.
7 Attractions To Consider Skipping At Walt Disney World:
1. It’s Tough to be a Bug!
It’s Tough to be a Bug! is found at base of the Tree of Life, the park icon of Animal Kingdom. Skip this show if you have young children who frighten easily, the live show gets dark and loud at times. Some of the subject matter may also be too startling for younger guests. Use your time to search for DiVine instead.
2. Primeval Whirl
Primeval Whirl at Animal Kingdom is a roller coaster style attraction, that also spins as you ride. Do not waste your time at Disney on this ride if you get motion sickness. This attraction is known to rough, with bumps and turns. Use your time to explore Pandora – World of Avatar instead.
3. The American Adventure
Unless you want to waste 30 minutes of your Disney Park time, skip The American Adventure show in The American Pavilion at the World Showcase. While the message about American History is important, there are better attractions to spend your time on. Instead, head to the Norway pavilion for Frozen Ever After.
4. Tomorrowland Speedway
The concept of this ride is great, however once guests board some may feel they have wasted their time. Tomorrowland Speedway at Magic Kingdom is hardly a speedway with a max 7MPH speed as guests drive around the 0.4 mile-long, guided, racetrack (with not much to look at). Instead ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
5. Magic Carpets of Aladdin, 6.TriceraTop Spin and 7. Astro Orbiter
This last one includes 3: Astro Orbiter (Magic Kingdom), Magic Carpets of Aladdin (Magic Kingdom) and TriceraTop Spin (Animal Kingdom). Instead simply ride the Classic, Dumbo the Flying Elephant. All the rides mentioned are the same spin-ride concept. Do not waste your time riding all 4 of the same-concept attraction, instead use your time to explore other options.

I disagree with dumbo. It’s a waste of time to wait for. Almost an hour and it’s broken up with different ways/lines to wait in. I waited 30mins. To find out it’s another 30 in a playground area and then 2 more shorter lines. Cant stand wasting a fp for it too if this article bashes astro orbiter. And I waited 30mins on that alone for a 2min ride–not recommended on cold/cool days.
I love your tipis but you are way off the mark by saying the American Adventure Show is a waste of time. My family (including myself, and husband and 4 kids ) absolutely love this. We make sure we see it every year when we come. It is rich with history and also gives you a nice break from the heat and a place to relax.
Your not a true Disney fan unless you experience all of Disney
Just remember this is one person’s opinion. Every one of the attractions mentioned as a don’t bother was a big hit with at least one of the folks in our group that ranged in age from 3 yrs to 65 years.
