1. Resort Lobbies
Resort lobbies at Disney World Resort have their own wonderful aromas. One favorite is the lobby at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, with a sweet pineapple smell. Water features also add to the aroma.
2. Pirates Of The Caribbean
Pirates of the Caribbean (POTC) is a notable and nostalgic scent at Disney. Find POTC in Adventureland of Magic Kingdom. The combination of the water and a damp, musty smell makes it unique. Any rides with water at Disney in general tend to have a unique smell, however POTC is a favorite.
3. Mickey’s Phiharmagic
Find Mickey’s Phiharmagic in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. This 3D presentation takes guests on a 12-minute adventure, featuring Donald Duck. When Lumiere shows up in the Be Our Guest Scene, a distinct and sweet apple pie scent fills the air.
4. Spaceship Earth
Board Spaceship Earth at the entrance of Epcot, inside the park icon. The Rome scene is a favorite among guests on Spaceship Earth for the burning smell. It reminds guests of a burning fireplace smell.
5. Soarin’ Around The World
Soarin’ Around The World takes guests around the World, over Worldwide marvels, landscapes and more with the sensation of hang-gliding. Memorable and perfectly timed smells include sweet orange and fresh grass.
6. Avatar Flight Of Passage
Guests can find the thrilling attraction, Avatar Flight of Passage in Pandora- World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom. While riding on the back of a banshee guests will encounter floral and earthy scents.
7. Flower & Garden
During the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot, guests will find additional flowers giving off wonderful fragrances. Throughout the park find topiaries and floral displays delighting your sense of smell.
8. Karamell-Kuche
Karamell-Kuche is found in the Germany pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. Karamell-Kuche is German for “Caramel Kitchen”. Therefore it is no surprise that the caramel flavor fills the air when you step into this quaint shop.
9. Main St USA
Step onto Main St USA at Magic Kingdom and smells such as popcorn and vanilla sugar cookies linger as you walk towards Cinderella’s Castle. Walt Disney himself wanted popcorn stands to be located near the entrance, for guests to grab popcorn and enjoy the show (the park itself).
