As Disney World plans to reopen its parks starting with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom July 11th, many are wondering what to expect. Well, today July 9th, Kristin (owner of Couponing to Disney) is at Disney World for a passholder preview! She snapped these photos and some tidbits to share with everyone!
Previously announced, the parking lot tram is not running for Passholder Preview. This was confirmed today. Guests are being parked every other parking spot, with plans to fill in empty spots throughout the day.
There is lots of new signage explaining new health & safety measures.
Once guests reach the TTC (Transportation and Ticket Center), they will have their temperature screened. Then guests are directed to the new security promenade.
Cell phones will go in the bin, and your bag goes with you through the medal detector.
The monorail, bus and boat are running for guest transportation. Out of these three, bus is usually always the fastest one to take.
At the busses, there are markers on the ground where to stand while waiting. Once on the bus, each guest will be boarded on the bus with a section to sit. The bus was separated by petitions. Once arrived, guests are asked to leave the bus the same way they boarded (either front of bus or back of bus).
Social distancing is encouraged at the turnstiles to get in. Cast members are not scanning guests fingerprints at this time, no fingerprint taken at entry.
