Back in early March of 2020 the first steps were taken. Shanghai Disneyland had select retail, dining and entertainment experiences reopening at Disneytown, Wishing Star Park and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel. Starting May 11th, Shanghai Disneyland will start to welcome guests back to the park!
Guests can expect new and enhanced health & safety measures. Shanghai Disneyland will also follow controlled capacity for the phased reopening.
SOME OF THE NEW GUIDELINES:
During this reopening phase, the park will institute new measures and procedures. It will include limited attendance and required advanced ticketing and reservations. They will encourage social distancing in queues, restaurants, ride vehicles and other facilities. They will also be implementing increased frequency of sanitization and disinfection.
Ticket sales will be available through the resort’s official online channels and travel agents beginning on May 8 at 8 am. There are a limited number of tickets available each day during the reopening. Guests are required to purchase dated admission tickets prior to their arrival.
Annual Pass holders must make a reservation for their visit through the resort’s official online channels. During this “Advanced Reservation Period,” General Admission tickets for Shanghai Disneyland will not be accepted.
