Our Touring Strategy: Because this place rarely feels crowded, we like to save it for early afternoon when lines at most attractions are long. The parade at Animal Kingdom starts and ends in Africa, so if you can time your arrival back from Rafiki’s Planet Watch with the time the parade is running (so that it has already left Africa but is returning), you can see the parade with minimal wait!
Secrets/Tips and Tricks:
- Opens 30 minutes after the rest of the park.
- There is a lovely mural at the entrance of the building. There are approximately 30 Hidden Mickeys in the mural.
- Conservation Station is also a great place for to meet Rafiki with very minimal wait.
- If you come early in the day, you can see basic surgery procedures on animals at the Veterinary Treatment Room.
