I really should have an extra $125 in my fund tonight, but I’m going to tell you my story and you tell me if it’s fund money or just what is rightfully mine.
I went to the Dentist back in December. Come January, here came a $125 bill for my cleaning- but we carry dental insurance. Through some investigative work, I found out our insurance had changed and my husband had forgotten to tell me, so I wrongfully presented the old insurance information. We gave them the new info and went on about our lives…until a few days ago, when a $125 bill showed up. Now at this point, there are two choices. Call again or assume I really do owe the bill and pay it. You know I called again. Once again they were trying to charge the old insurance, despite the fact we called and gave the updated information. A quick phone call and it, in theory, should be sorted out this time. We’ll see.
The moral of the story is- don’t pay something just because a bill comes in for it. If you don’t understand why you owe what they say you owe, definitely call and investigate the charges. Two phone calls and (in theory) we will have saved $125 that we didn’t owe. When my husband had to see an emergency dentist a year ago, I had to call six times to force them to actually submit to our insurance, but I kept on them- because I’m not paying a penny more than I owe, no matter how much frustration I have to deal with.
I am super proud of my earnings this week! Secret shopping has picked back up, which I am grateful for. I had several opportunities to try new products which provided several household items and even took care of dinner one evening! Woo Woo. I also killed it on Dabbl! I waited to cashout until I hit $20 to get the bonus, so this is cumulative of two weeks. It’s been kinda rough, but I’m glad I slogged through the bad weeks. It’s definitely paying dividends now.
