Florida-registered car owners have a special opportunity to purchase a specialty Walt Disney World Resort license plate. This first-ever specialty WDW license plate celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.
Plus, proceeds from each license plate purchased will go to Make-A-Wish (in Central & Northern Florida). Approximately 8,000 wishes granted a year are a trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
The design of the specialty plate is still to be revealed. However, a presale is now available ($25 plus taxes + fees). Purchase yours now at County Tax Collector’s offices and license plate agencies (DMVs) across the State of Florida. For more details visit flhsmv.gov.

Another noteworthy announcement confirmed is that Disney World is busy planning their 50th Anniversary. I can not wait to see what is in store! As stated from Disney Parks Blog:
