Incredible Summer celebration kicks off at Disney World on May 25, 2018. Summer 2018 will be a great time to visit Disney World. Below are 7 New Happenings At Disney World Summer 2018.
1. Magic Kingdom – An Incredible Tomorrowland Expo At Tomorrowland
Guests will be able to enjoy a nightly dance party on the Rocket Tower Stage this summer. Enjoy the sounds, Incredibles decor and party with Mr Incredible, Elastigirl, Frozone and for the first time ever – Edna Mode. Starting May 25 – September 3, 2018.
2. Epcot – The Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live
See Star Lord and Gamora of Guardians of the Galaxy in a band. Featuring fan favorite music from the movies soundtracks. This concert series runs 5 times daily from June 9 – August 19.
3. Animal Kingdom – New Show Featuring Up Characters
Disney’s Animal Kingdom park is getting an all new show named Up! A Great Bird Adventure. The new show will feature characters from Disney- Pixar’s UP, Russell and Dug. Discover different species of birds from around the world with Russell & Dug. This new show begins April 22 for guests. Animal Kingdom will also be celebrating its 20th anniversary with special events.
4. Animal Kingdom – Donald’s Dino-Bash
Donald Duck & friends are taking over Dinoland. Starting for guests on May 25, guests can enjoy a nightly dance party and also meet and greets with Scrooge McDuck, Launchpad McQuack and more of Donald’s friends.
5. Hollywood Studios – Toy Story Land Opens
Saved the best for last, as summer 2018 is also the highly anticipated opening of Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. This new land adds an additional 11 acres to the Hollywood Studios park with 2 new attractions – Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. Plus a new quick service restaurant, Woody’s Lunch Box. Plus, an existing favorite, Toy Story Mania, will be an existing attraction to the new land. Even further, Toy Story Mania is adding a 3rd track.
6. Typhoon Lagoon – Disney H20 Glow Nights
Join Buzz, Woody & Jessie at a beach party with dancing, games and meet and greets. Disney H2O Glow Nights start June 21, continuing through August 11 on Thursdays and Sundays from 8-11pm. This is a separate ticketed event, costing $55 for adults & $50 for children (ages 3-9), plus tax.
7. Disney Springs – Incredibles 2 At AMC
Incredibles 2 debuts in theatres on June 15, 2018. Watch it on the big screen at Disney Springs AMC theatre. The focus is on Helen this time and the superhero family will encounter a new villain. Catch up with Violet, Dash and Baby Jack-Jack where they left off in Incredibles.
