Disney Wishables have become a big market. Remember the Tsum Tsums a few years ago? The Wishables have overtaken that line.
There are 2 options for Wishables. You can choose from a Blind Bag with 4 different options or you can choose one of the individual plushes. These are always different.
The ultimate goal is for you to have to buy larger quantities of the blind bag hoping to get the one you want.
When you are at the Disney Parks, you are encouraged to squeeze the bags to determine what is inside. The key is to find one unique thing about the plush that you want. Try to determine if you can feel it in the bag.
Here’s some examples:
Mike has a huge round body, so squeeze the center of the plush to see if you can feel the roundness.
Boo has 2 pigtails. Find the head of the plush and pinch it to see if you can make out pig tails.
The vehicle monster (I believe this is the ride vehicle at Disneyland) has wheels, so pinch around the plush to determine if you can feel the wheels.
And then for Roz, you can determine if it is her by eliminating the characteristics of the other plushes.
Disney releases multiple series of the Wishables throughout the year. You can buy them in the theme parks but some also make it onto ShopDisney but you can’t squeeze those….can you? ;)
They also have Wishables in various stores throughout the theme parks. So if you don’t find the one you want in the first store you can try another store.
Don’t give up hope! It took me squeezing over 100 bags to finally find the Robot Plush from Buzz Lightyear’s Star Command that I really wanted.
So I want to know…do you have any Disney Wishables?
