Cream CheeseStuffed Pretzel…YUM!!!!!
The turkey legs have become a fun tradition since the first time my family went to Disney. It’s more of a statement food so you can say “I’ve had a Turkey Leg at Disney World” and we do have some great pictures of all of us trying to eat one. They are pricey, but if you don’t mind sharing, it can be a filling snack among a couple of people (maybe get a plate and a couple forks and tear it apart?). From my memory, there is a lot of meat on one and I can’t eat a whole one myself. Overall, I think they are very good and worth trying at least once :-) Just make sure to plan a trip to wash your hands after, they are messy.
I did the Disney College Internship and worked the turkey leg wagon in Frontierland (also worked Aloha Isle, Aunt Polly’s, and Liberty Square Market). I have never eaten a turkey leg, but man those things are so popular I remember having to entertain a whole line as we waited for more legs to come out. When I spotted the girl pushing the cart out with them I got the whole line to cheer her on. I will tell you that after working an 8 plus hour shift I would often find myself sitting solo on the bus back to our condos as I stunk to high heavens of turkey legs
My son did last week. It was too much for him to handle and it was very greasy when he bit into it. He said he was glad he tried it once, but once was enough for him.
The Turkey Legs are amazing(ly expensive) and very good.
