2. Transportation
Disney’s Caribbean Resort offers Bus transportation to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs. Disney Skyliner is available to transport guests to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT with a birds eye view in a gondola. Guests wanting to go to Blizzard Beach will need to transfer buses at Animal Kingdom.
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort offers Bus transportation to all four Disney theme parks, Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney Springs.
Many past guests say Disney Skyliner seals the deal for Resort choice, for the convenience to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios!
3. Activities
Both Resorts offer many of the same activities such as poolside fun at the main pool, a Playground for little ones and Movies Under the Stars.

4. Number of Resort Rooms
Number of Resort rooms is a general way to gage how spread out the Resort will be, meaning the walk to the main food court and bus stops. Guests of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort highly recommend staying at the Gran Destino Tower!

- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort: 1,536
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort: 2,384
As you can see, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort does more than 800 guest rooms over Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and guest experiences reflect that. Many find Caribbean Beach Resort easier to navigate, however it all depends on where your room is.
5. Cost
It may surprise you to learn both resorts are comparable when it comes to cost. See the current (March/2021) non-discounted nightly room rates below (these will vary by season etc.).
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort starts at $352.60/night.
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort starts at $331.40/night.
