Disney’s BoardWalk is perfect for an evening stroll at Disney World by the waterside! Now, Disney World has confirmed it will be enhancing the BoardWalk over the next few years with new offerings to Disney BoardWalk and BoardWalk Inn!

One new offering will be, The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers. This eatery will offer a bakery and a table-service restaurant, with both savory and sweet items. Satisfy your sweet tooth with desserts and storybook sweet treats! Also offered will be afternoon tea service. The Cake Bake Shop is expected to open in 2023.
Additionally, the BoardWalk Bakery will become your new favorite stop for a sandwich shop. This change will join current options such as the beloved BoardWalk Ice Cream.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn will get a touch of reimagination as well:
- lobby getting light and airy touches added
- lounge and guests rooms will also be refreshed
- adjacent to the lobby find an all-new coffee bar with artisanal drinks and to-go bites to eat
- refreshed indoor and outdoor seating spaces
