When you are working on your plan of what Fastpass+ reservations you want to make, you’ll find it helpful to read over what others recommend. Here are my recommendations for Fastpass+ attractions for 6 – 9 year olds at Walt Disney World.
Magic Kingdom
Is your child a daredevil? If so, I would book the following:
- Big Thunder Mountain
- Splash Mountain (book this for the hour following your Big Thunder Fastpass)
- 7 Dwarfs Mine Train
Is your child more interested in the tamer attractions? If so, I would book the following:
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin
Is your child more into the characters? If so, I would book the following:
- Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet
- Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater
- Meet Ariel at her Grotto
Epcot
I recommend that you book your Fastpass+ for Soarin’ and head straight to Test Track when the park opens. Soarin’ is slow loading, so it is better to use your Fastpass+ there since you can only choose between the two attractions.
For the other 2 options, I would choose Mission: SPACE Green and Spaceship Earth.
Hollywood Studios
Like Epcot, Hollywood Studios also has tiered Fastpass+ options. You can choose one from Group A and two from Group B. I would book the following:
- Toy Story Midway Mania!
- Star Tours: The Adventures Continue
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (for the daredevil) or For The First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
Animal Kingdom
Most people head straight to Kilimanjaro Safaris when the park opens. I recommend that you Fastpass+ that attraction for 10 – 11 am and instead head over to DinoLand where you can ride Triceratop Spin, Primeval Whirl and Dinosaur with no wait (then you won’t have to Fastpass+ them later in the day).
- Kilimanjaro Safaris (10-11 am)
- Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost (here you can meet Mickey and Minnie in the air conditioning!)
- Kali River Rapids (book for just before you leave the park because you are going to get wet) or stay dry and try Na’vi River Journey
