When you are working on your plan of what Fastpass+ reservations you want to make, here are my recommendations for 12 Fastpass+ attractions for adults.
Magic Kingdom
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – The newest rollercoaster in the kingdom is one of the hottest demands for Fastpass+ reservations. You board this attraction in a swinging mine car train and crest over hills that offer incredible views of Fantasyland. You’ll even take a ride through the mine where the Seven Dwarfs are waiting to sing you up the hill….Heigh Ho! Heigh Ho! What’s not to love?
Peter Pan’s Flight – This classic attraction is a must for everyone, no matter their age. I really feel like this attraction embodies the magic and wonder that Walt Disney hoped to inspire when he opened Disneyland in 1955. Everyone needs to experience this one and with a slow loading queue that quickly reaches 45 minute waits, Fastpass+ is the way to go.
Splash Mountain – Who wants to wait 45 minutes to get wet? Not me! Book your Fastpass+ reservation for when you want to ride. I recommend the hotter part of the day.
Animal Kingdom
Kilimanjaro Safaris – Instead of rushing back to the safaris with everyone else, book a Fastpass+ for 10 am and use that first hour to ride DINOSAUR, Primeval Whirl and maybe even jump in a line to meet a character or two.
Expedition Everest – When the park opens guests either head to Kilimanjaro Safaris or Expedition Everest. Use your Fastpass+ to avoid being in one of the stampedes.
Flight of Passage – This ride draws crowds, a Fastpass+ is recommended.
Kali River Rapids – Time your ride on this attraction just before you are ready to leave the park for the day. There is a good chance you could end up soaked. And who wants to walk around soaking wet? Not this girl!
Epcot
This park is a little more difficult with their tiered Fastpass+ selections. They let you pick one attraction from tier 1 (where they put the best ones) and two from tier 2.
Soarin’ – When the park opens, I recommend you head to Test Track and Fastpass+ Soarin’ instead. Soarin’ is a slow loading attraction and you are going to spend time waiting even with the Fastpass+ so I don’t recommend adding waiting in the queue to the list!
Spaceship Earth – This queue always looks like it is forever long but really the entire thing is outdoors. As soon as you enter in the door you load on the attraction. You’ve got to use that Group B Fastpass+ on something, so this is what I would go with.
The Seas with Nemo & Friends – Another attraction that you don’t really need a Fastpass+ for, but with the limited choices I recommend this one. It is an enjoyable and air conditioned ride that features Nemo. It concludes with a breathtaking view of the aquarium. Did you know this aquarium in The Seas pavilion is so large that the entire Epcot ball could be submerged inside it?
Hollywood Studios
This park also has tiered Fastpass+ selections. They let you pick one attraction from tier 1 and two from tier 2.
Toy Story Midway Mania! – Since this is one of the most popular attractions in all of Walt Disney World, you will definitely want to Fastpass+ this one! My husband and I enjoy competing against one another to see who gets the highest score. Alternative: Slinky Dog Dash.
Star Tours: The Adventures Continue – With over 50 different ride combinations, this attraction is a must even for those who have never seen the films.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – If you enjoy falling elevators, this one is for you! It is a classic Hollywood Studios attraction and one many people look forward to experiencing when they come to Walt Disney World.
