The Walt Disney World Standard Dining plan is $78.01 for an adult and it includes 2 snacks (either a drink or food), 1 quick service credit (a drink and entree) and 1 table service credit (a drink, entree and dessert). I am going to show you how to eat for for less than the dining plan in Animal Kingdom without the dining plan.
Here is what your day could look like:
Breakfast – Dine in your room on poptarts, oatmeal (get hot water from the coffee pot or food court), granola bars, etc. Anything that is easy and quick to eat.
Lunch – Order the Backlot Burger for $13.99 from Backlot Express. Add a soda for $3.99. Total: $17.98
Snack – Specialty Cupcake at The Trolley Car Cafe $5.49. Ask for a cup of ice water. Total: $5.49
Snack – Blue Milk from Star Wars Land $7.99
Dinner – Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken from 50’s Prime Time Cafe $24.00. Add a flavored soda for $4.00. Order a Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake for dessert for $9.00. Total: $37.00
Total: $68.46 + tax!
If you don’t drink soda and opt for water instead (we don’t drink soda so when we go to Disney World, we drink water everywhere) you’ll only pay $8 less for your day!
