Here is a simple Italian Chicken in Slow Cooker recipe. Just throw some chicken into the slow cooker with some Italian dressing and potatoes and it turns out AMAZING.
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
- ½ cup Italian salad dressing
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
- 4 to 6 medium potatoes, cut into wedges
- Place chicken in bottom of Crock Pot.
- Sprinkle with half of the Italian dressing, spices, and the grated cheese.
- Put the potatoes on top or around the chicken. Sprinkle with the rest of the dressing, spices, and cheese.
- Cook on low for about 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is done and potatoes are tender.

Another yummy recipe to add to the list. I just replaced my broken crock pot yesterday. It is doing its thing right now with a chuck roast, onions, potatoes and mushrooms in it! Hurry up, I am getting hungry!

This sounds delicious! Since we are swimming later at night, it would be great to have some slow cooker dinners to make summer nights even easier.

This sounds amazing! I love meals that I can just dump and go. I’m not a fancy cook so the less ingredients the better

Does “grated Parmesan or Romano cheese” mean the Kraft cheese that can be sprinkled onto meals or does it mean that I need to go to the supermarket and purchase Parmesan cheese from the specialty area and grate that up?
Rachel H says
I would say the actual cheese and not the powdery kind. You can buy shredded Parmesan cheese with the other shredded cheese at the grocery store. :)

Looks delicious! And so easy! I love to cook in my crockpot, but often I find recipes that either ask for a lot of ingredients, or are a bit pricey. I’m very excited to read what else you’ll be cooking. Thank you so much!

I definitely try to find recipes (or either come up with some) that don’t require a lot of ingredients or weird/expensive ingredients. I wouldn’t want a lot of prep work or spend a lot of money so I don’t want my readers to have to do that either. :)

I used to make the same sort of recipe in my oven (using red potatoes) and we always enjoyed it. I’ll have to try it in my slow cooker…

It definitely helps your electrical bill to use your oven as little as possible. :)
