Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Stop by the gift shop and ask to see the pin board! Trade up to 2 Disney pins for 2 new Disney pins to add to your collection. Once you have your pins, Pin Trading at Disney World is a fun, free activity.
Take a family photo at the fun Mickey ear sculpture, with Mickey Mouse in the center at Disney’s Contemporary.
Spend some time and a few dollars on playing games at The Game Station. Disney’s Contemporary is home to one of the largest arcades on Disney World property. Perfect rainy day fun stop.
Polynesian Village Resort
Have a Dole Whip at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Head to Pineapple Lanai where your toughest decision will be Dole Whip or Dole Whip Float?!

End your evening on your Monorail loop tour at one of the Resorts for unexpected fireworks views of Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks spectacular. Al though you will not see the eye level entertainment at the Castle, the fireworks go high enough in the sky to see from various resorts. At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, view them from California Grill restaurant, where music is piped in or from the Public Balcony. At Polynesian, view from by the beach. At Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, view by the beach/Marina.

At Disney’s Contemporary Resort look for a gingerbread display, large Christmas wreath outside (see from Monorail) and Christmas trees on property, including one of the largest on Disney property by the flags out front. At Disney’s Grand Floridian look for the famous yearly life-size gingerbread house, a focal point Christmas Tree in the lobby and smaller trees and décor throughout. Plus at Grand Floridian be treated to orchestras playing Christmas music in the lobby for guests.
