Pool hopping between Disney World Resorts is a no-no. Guests are allowed to check out the dining, shopping and recreation at any Disney Resort, however pool hopping is not allowed. The exception to this rule are sister resorts, Port Orleans – French Quarter & Riverside, guests of either Resort can go back and forth as they wish.
Today we have another, little known, exception to this rule! Consider a day poolside at a Deluxe Disney Resort with a Cabana rental! The only requirement is that you are staying on-site at any Disney World Resort, to rent a cabana at Disney’s Contemporary Resort or Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
Cost
Cabana’s can be rented for a half-day or full-day. Prices for half and full day rentals can vary by season and resort. However I would budge $150+ for a half day and $220+ for a full day.
Amenities
Amenities vary by Resort. Learn what you can expect with your cost below.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort Amenities:
- Padded furniture, including chairs and couch
- Ceiling fan
- Bluetooth speaker
- Television with cable service
- Phone for internal Resort calls
- Fruit tray
- Mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary sodas and water
- Complimentary skincare products
- Safe
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Amenities:
- Dedicated Cast Member providing service to the cabanas
- 2 padded lounge chairs
- Padded sectional couch
- Ceiling fan
- Smart TV with cable service
- Fruit basket (may not be available without advance reservation)
- Mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary sodas and water
- Snack basket (may not be available without advance reservation)
- Plush towels
- Complimentary sunscreen and skincare products
Things To Know
For an additional cost, guests can partake in private dining. Cabanas can fill up quickly and advanced reservations are recommended. Guests will need their MagicBand (or card/Resort ID) to check-in to their cabana. Inclement weather may cause cancellations.
Now that you know this pool-hopping hack for Disney World, you can relax in shaded luxury poolside.
