This recipe for Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Chicken is so awesome because you can use any cut of the chicken you would like. I went with chicken thighs because they are inexpensive and something different than the usual chicken breasts that I always seem to cook. This recipe turned out so good and the sauce was amazing!
- 2-4 chicken thighs (remove skin if you would like)
- 1 can of pineapple juice (6 oz)
- ⅓ cup of soy sauce
- ½ cup of brown sugar
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve over a bed of rice and pour some remaining sauce on top before serving.

Do you think this could work with apple juice instead of pineapple? My family are not pineapple fans but it sounds so good!

I agree it’s looks great and will make it this week but where is the brown sugar that it’s supposed to have per the title? I love my slow cooker-I get home from work and poof, dinner is all ready!
