Today, learn what a Disney Pin Code email looks like and tips on how to get one yourself! First up, what is a Disney pin code?!
What is a Disney Pin Code? A Disney Pin Code is an exclusive savings code sent out, either by mail or email. They are non-transferable and often dates and resort restrictions apply. Your pin code will be associated with your zip code & last name.
I have been lucky enough to receive 2 exclusive offers via Disney Pin Codes by email within the last 2 months (of time of writing)! First was sent out on September 3rd and secondly on October 21st. I will say receiving 2 of these within a short time is quite unusual, however I am not complaining.
What the email header looks like:
If you see an email from Disney Destinations, do not delete! My emails came through as the following:
- 9/3 from Disney Destinations saying, Magic is Here. Join us for a great rate
- 10/21 from Disney Destinations saying, Save on select DISNEY RESORT hotels
Timing of Pin Codes
From personal experience I used to get mailer Disney Pin codes faithfully every 6 months or so. Within the last year or two however I have noticed Disney Pin codes coming primarily by email. I’ve also noticed email Pin Codes coincide when Disney releases discount offers to the general public on the Disney website offers page. Other than that, Pin Codes can be completely random!

Tips to get a Disney Pin Code
Now, the fun part, how to increase your chances of getting a Disney Pin Code! I am constantly interacting with Disney companies online, such as pricing out vacations, requesting info from DVC (Disney’s Vacation Club) and entering D23’s sweepstakes. I do believe this gets my info out there for them to find me and send me a pin code!
What to do:
- Create a Disney Account – Sign up for a Disney account on Disneyworld.com or through My Disney Experience. Be sure to keep your info up to date, such as your address if you move since your pin code is associated with your zip code.
- Price out Disney Vacations – As mentioned, this is one of the activities I do and it lets Disney know you are looking to visit!
- Request Info – Head to Disney Vacation Club and Disneyplanning.com for a FREE Disney Vacation Planning DVD offer and sign up for email offers. These promos are run periodically.
- Sign up for Disney Movie Insiders – Love Disney Movies? Sign up for Disney Movie Insiders to earn while showing your interest in Disney.
- Sign up for D23 – They have an option for a Free General Membership and this allows you to enter their exclusive sweepstakes.
Each time you sign up for an account associated with Disney, be sure to click boxes that say you wish to receive communication by mail and email. Getting your name in the system can increase your likelihood to receive a Pin code!
