Not all Disney World attractions are perceived equally, some are more popular than others. These 7 Underrated Attractions of Disney World may not be the most popular, but they are worth a visit. Are there any attractions you usually skip at Disney World?
1. Living With The Land
Find the Living with the Land boat ride in the Land Pavilion at Epcot. Many guests skip this attraction, however the behind the scenes look at Disney’s greenhouses are fascinating.
2. Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
This attraction is often overlooked by guests, however look up while in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom and you cant miss the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. Do not miss out on this 10 minute ride with behind the scenes look at Space Mountain, an early model of Epcot and more. Plus enjoy a birds eye view of tomorrowland.
3. Barnstormer
The Barnstormer featuring Goofy as The Great Goofini takes guests on a home-made stunt area made by Goofy. This junior roller coaster is fun for all ages and not to be overlooked. It makes a great first roller-coaster ride and even features a “slow” button for young passengers to press when they feel nervous! My little one fully believed this worked.
4. Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress
Many walk by this attraction found in Magic Kingdom, however the Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress is a classic attraction. This attraction was originally created for the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair, by Walt Disney himself. Making this nostalgic journey on how technology affected people through the 20th century a must ride.
5. Journey Into Imagination With Figment
Guests of Epcot often overlook this fun ride through the Imagination Institute with the playful purple dragon. After your journey, visit the ImageWorks containing interactive exhibits.
6. Walt Disney Presents
Formerly, One Man’s Dream, Walt Disney Presents holds some of Disney World past, present and future. Many skip this self-guided tour, however guests can see artifacts from Walt’s life and more on display plus sneak peaks of upcoming attractions.
7. Jungle Cruise
Some guests choose to skip the Jungle Cruise, however this 10-minute boat ride is great for all ages and perfect for a rest. Plus, get the right skipper as your guide (some play role better than others) and you will be laughing the entire ride.
