If you are in the parks and need to take a breather, here are the best attractions for a midday nap at Walt Disney World:
Hall of Presidents – The dark theater plus the cool air conditioning makes this a great place to take a short siesta. It is also not a very popular attraction so you’ll find plenty of elbow room.
Carousel of Progress – While this theater does rotate during the show, you’ll find that you can briefly close your eyes during performances if you feel so inclined.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover – Our favorite place for a rest is taking a spin on this attraction. It is a great place to rest your legs.
Liberty Square River Boat – Grab a seat on a shaded deck and kick back on this lazy tour of the Rivers of America.
Tom Sawyer Island – This island is rarely crowded and there are benches available along the woodsy paths. You’ll almost feel like you aren’t even in the middle of the Magic Kingdom.

You can also ride the train around the park. We did that and got stuck in the front station for the 3:00 parade. We got to see a bit of the parade while the kids slept. We also got to see the end once we left the station and the floats were still going over the tracks from the back lot.
