Then you may be thinking about enjoying Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of the best ways to celebrate Halloween. Trick or Treating on Main Street USA and dressing up as a family add extra magic to your trip! Let’s talk about Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this week!
What is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special, hard ticket event, held at the Magic Kingdom on select nights in September and October. Guests can come dressed in Halloween costumes-many families do coordinating costumes. You can trick or treat throughout Magic Kingdom, enjoy special character meets, see the Boo to You Parade and enjoy Hallowishes in the evening. The party starts at 7PM, and usually lasts until midnight.
Will I be able to make FastPass Plus selections for the hours of the Halloween party?
Currently, no. During Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, only a certain number of guests are allowed into the Magic Kingdom after 7PM. So the lines tend to be lower during this time. Also, with meeting special characters, the Boo to You Parade, and trick or treating, you will find that you probably won’t need a FastPass to enjoy most of your favorite attractions. FastPass Plus was not an option during the party last year, but perhaps that will change for this year.
Do I need a park hopper to visit Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?
No, you do not. You do need a special Mickey’s Not So Scar Halloween Party ticket, though. This is purchased separately via your My Disney Experience account. So if you have base park tickets on your reservation, you can visit EPCOT in the morning and afternoon for example, and then visit Magic Kingdom with your party ticket after 4PM at Magic Kingdom.
Are my Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets on my MagicBand?
If you have purchased your tickets and added them to your My Disney Experience account, then yes! That’ s the magic of the MagicBand!
What rare characters might we see at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?
While characters are always subject to change, Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party does bring out the more elusive characters. The Seven Dwarfs, Jafar, Cruella DeVille, the Queen of Hearts, as well as the princesses with their princes tend to make appearances. Jack Skellington and Sally are very popular during the party, and you may even see Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum!

We went last year and went to the party on Halloween night. My girls were 3.5 and 1. We had a great time and would recommend it to everyone. I think we ride Buzz Lightyear 4 times in a row. My oldest was having such a blast. Then at the dance parties we got to dance with Sully and Boo. Great memories!
That sounds like so much fun, Danielle! Did you all dress up? Or just the girls?
