This week, we are going to answer some frequently asked questions about signature dining and dinner shows at Walt Disney World.
What is the best way to enjoy Signature Dining at Walt Disney World?
If you are a foodie, enjoy excellent dining options, and wish to try the nicest restaurants on Disney property, then the Deluxe Dining Plan is the plan you want to add to your Magic Your Way Package. This allows you three meals and two snacks per person per night of your stay. This means that if you want to enjoy the two-table service credit meals on Disney property, you can do so with no problem and no cost out of pocket. All your meals and snacks are covered under Deluxe Dining!
What Disney restaurants are “signature” dining?
- Jiko the Cooking Place @ Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Flying Fish Cafe @ Disney’s Boardwalk
- California Grill @ Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Citrico’s @ Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
- Narcoossee’s @ Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
- Artist Point @ Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort
- Yachtsman Steakhouse @ Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort
- Le Cellier Steakhouse @ EPCOT’s World Showcase
- Monsieur Paul @ EPCOT’s World Showcase
- The Hollywood Brown Derby @ Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Fulton’s Crab House @ Downtown Disney
- The Dining Room at Wolfgang Puck the Cafe @ Downtown Disney
What dinner shows can I enjoy at Walt Disney World?
Another great option for using those Deluxe Dining Credits are the dinner shows on property. These cost two dining credits as well. You can find Mickey’s Backyard BBQ at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Disney’s also at the Fort Wilderness Resort, and the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
Can I enjoy signature dining experiences and dinner shows if I am on the Basic Dining Plan?
Yes, you certainly can. You would be using two dining credits at one of these experiences, and would have to pay out of pocket for another meal during your trip if you did so.
Which dinner show do you recommend for families?
I don’t really think you can go wrong with any of them. But, if you have a family of various ages, I think the Hoop Dee Doo Revue is the most entertaining. With a family of young children, the Mickey’s Backyard BBQ is your best bet. And, for couples or families with older children, I think the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is the best!
