Now read, 5 Reasons Why Disney Skyliner Is Better Than Disney Bus Transportation.
1. Faster Transportation Than Busses For These Reasons
Depending on your starting location, the ride to either connecting park is approximately 3-10 minutes away. This is a much quicker transportation option than busses for a few reasons. One being that the Disney Skyliner runs continuously, simply hop on and be on your way. Where as a ride on the bus includes waiting for the bus, boarding a busload of all guests on or off at once and driving through traffic and stopping at stop signs etc. None of which Disney Skyliner has to worry about. The Gondolas are in constant motion at approx. 11 MPH (with ability to pause if needed).
2. Nice Breeze
Many were concerned about the gondolas not having air conditioning. However, guests will enjoy a pleasant breeze while on board as they are ventilated. Guests who have rode were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the gondola cabins were with the breeze. The Switzerland cabin designers have included an air flow system through windows cracked at an angle and floor vents to circulate the air inside.
3. Beautiful Views From Above
Enjoy a birds-eye view while you ride the Disney Skyliner transportation. Ride in the sky alongside your favorite Disney characters and theming. The gondolas offers views of EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and more from above, not scene from any other mode of transportation. Heights and views from above ground range from 15 feet to 60 feet in the air, depending on location.
4. Quick Access To Disney’s BoardWalk
The ride to EPCOT drops guests off at the International Gateway. This is perfect for guests wanting to experience all that Disney’s Boardwalk has to offer, including dining, shopping and entertainment. Disney’s Boardwalk is just a short walk from the International Gateway.
