Boo! Did I scare you? I am terrifying, I know.
You know what’s not scary? How much new content we’re getting on Disney+ this month! And if you’re like me and ignored all all the new content from October because you just decided to watch Hocus Pocus on a month long loop, then you get double the new content!
The Mandalorian, Season 2
*Episode 1 Available October 30, Episodes 2-5 available weekly in November*
It’s you, me, and our favorite Bounty Hunter, on a quest to protect the Internet’s sweetheart, Yoda Baby. If you’re a Mando fan, then you already know this is the way. And if you’re not a Mando fan, join me over on my Mandalorian reviews, where a casual Star Wars fan tries to connect the dots between this show everyone loves and three trilogies of movies that people have many opinions about.
Disney’s A Christmas Carol
*Available November 6th
The Victorian holiday classic we all know and love, but add Jim Carrey. This animated feature wasn’t available on Disney+ for the holidays last year, so thank the Ghost of Christmas Present that we get to watch it now!
LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special
*Available November 17th
Look at that poster! What else do you need? The LEGO brand is much beloved not only for the toys but also, in recent years, their family friendly and irreverent takes on intellectual property ranging from Marvel to Jurassic Park. This special is the perfect addition to Disney+’s library of LEGO Star Wars features. The plot sounds accessible for fans both casual and super: Rey leaves her friends to prepare for Life Day as she sets off on an adventure to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. At a mysterious temple, she is hurled into a cross-timeline adventure. Will she make it back in time for Life Day?
The Right Stuff
*Available Now
This eight episode series is adapted from the book of the same name by Tom Wolfe. Co-produced with National Geographic, The Right Stuff follows U.S. fighter pilots recruited to test experimental aircraft and rockets to become the first Mercury astronauts. My parents who are Quaranteaching, this is might be fun to integrate into your history lessons? My folks looking for something to talk to your Uncle about at Thanksgiving, chances are good this is right up his alley? Added bonus: documentary The Real Right Stuff lands on Disney+ on November 20th, so you can compare the dramatized series and the real world doc!
The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse
*Available November 18th
The new 20 episode series follows Mickey and his best pals – Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto – as they embark on their greatest adventures yet, navigating the curve-balls of a wild and zany world where the magic of Disney makes the impossible possible.
Once Upon a Snowman
*Available Now
I love all the shorts that make up the Frozenverse. My only problem with our favorite snowman’s eight minute origin story? I wish it was 20 minutes longer! Pair with Olaf’s Frozen Adventure for a festive double feature.
Black Beauty
*Available November 27th
The classic story of a wild horse and a teenage girl who forge an unbreakable bond gets a redo for the 2020 set. Sure to be treasured by fans of the novel and all horse girls.
Clouds

Based on the true story of musician Zach Sobiech, who discovers his cancer has spread, leaving him just a few months to live. With limited time, he follows his dream and makes an album, unaware that it will soon be a viral music phenomenon. Get your kleenex ready.
Inside Pixar

This five episode documentary series of personal and cinematic stories provides an inside look into the people, artistry, and culture of Pixar Animation Studios.
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice
*Available Now
If you’ve binged National Treasure and National Treasure 2: More Treasures, might I interest in you in another family geared Nic Cage movie? It’s a tale as old as time: Master sorcerer Balthazar Blake must find and train Merlin’s descendant to defeat dark sorceress Morgana la Fée. Also starring Jay Baruchel, the voice of Hiccup in the How to Train Your Dragon series.
