If you are trying to decide where to eat, here are my top 7 Quick Service Restaurants in Walt Disney World:
Pecos Bill in the Magic Kingdom – This restaurant has the best burger and fries. You can also ordered a chicken sandwich or a southwest chicken salad. Visit the toppings bar to add lettuce, tomato, sautéed onions, mushrooms and condiments to your meal. There is ample seating throughout the restaurant and there are even some tables positioned around the outside. If Tortuga Tavern isn’t open, sometimes they have additional dining located up the ramp in this restaurant.
Pinocchio Village Haus in the Magic Kingdom – If you are a fan of pizza, this restaurant has a delicious flatbread and their garlic knots are amazing! Adults could split a flatbread pizza and an order of the knots and save on their dining costs. Grab a seat by the big glass windows and you can watch people on It’s A Small World as the boat takes off. There is also some seating located upstairs and on the deck. There is also a huge patio with seating if you want to dine outside. Don’t forget to locate the wish book and write your heart’s desire in it’s pages.
La Cantina de San Angel – This counter service location in Mexico has the best nachos I have ever had. With seating along the waterfront and more located inside the double doors just to the right of the order windows, you can take your pick of where you want to dine. We personally like the seats inside by the large picture windows that overlook the World Showcase. We usually only treat the nachos as a snack to share, but this is a great break from the heat!
Lotus Blossom Cafe – Located in China, this restaurant has some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. The food is not heavy and seating is plentiful with table areas on both the left and right side of the restaurant. You have to try the egg rolls. They are divine!
Pizza Planet – If your kids love pizza, you are going to love this restaurant in Hollywood Studios. Not only is it located indoors, but there are arcade games to enjoy. Make sure you bring a roll of quarters with you or you can change some bills there in the arcade. I recommend the pizza and salad.
Restaurantosaurus – When you are at Animal Kingdom, it is nice to be able to take a break indoors. Restaurantosaurus is located in Dinoland and it is kind of hidden behind the brush on your way to Dinosaur. The food here is delicious, serving traditional favorites like burgers and nuggets. It does have a self service drink station so you can get as many refills as you would like. If you have kids with you, the kids meals come in a bucket that they can take to The Boneyard after the meal and use it to dig in the sand.
Flame Tree Barbecue – Located in Animal Kingdom, this quick service has the most amazing barbecue. Grab your food and find a seat in multiple hidden dining areas. If there isn’t something in the first seating area, keep going. Just remember that Animal Kingdom doesn’t offer lids for their beverages, so either have someone carry drinks on a separate tray or get bottled water here. You don’t want to spill your drink on your food as you navigate the rocky path to the table.
