Part of a Disney vacation is getting to experience Disney restaurants. Below is a list of Disney restaurants that are tried and true for a great experience.
1. Be Our Guest
Go ahead and put their service to the test. Be Our Guest located at Disney’s Magic Kingdom is one of the most popular restaurants on property. Located in Fantasyland at the base of Beast’s Castle, feel like you are walking into the movie. Try the famous “Gray Stuff” dessert. Dinner is now 2 Dining credits on the dining plan.
2. Tusker House
Enter Disney’s Animal Kingdom to find the Tusker House and a fun character meal awaits. Discover African flavors and a buffet offered for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Guests will see Safari Donald Duck and friends at this pick.
3. Sanaa
Located at Animal Kingdom Villas in Kidani Village is a gem of a restaurant, Sanaa. Serving lunch, dinner and now breakfast. If you sit down at this restaurant, go for the bread service for starters. This highly recommended dish comes with 3 breads and 9 dipping sauces, and great for sharing.
4. Ohana
Ohana means family and guests will feel like family at this Hawaiian-style restaurant with Lilo, Stitch and friends. Ohana is located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Try the Stitch Juice with your meal.
5. California Grill Restaurant
Take the monorail to the Contemporary Resort to find the California Grill. During Happily Ever After fireworks the restaurant plays along the music during dining and dims lights to see the fireworks as well. You may also be interested in, “Celebration at the Top – Sip, Savor, Sparkle”, a dining experience at the California Grill with a guaranteed view of the fireworks.
6. Cape May Café
Hang ten and see Mickey, Mickey & friends in their beach attire. Cape May Café is located at the Beach Club Resort. Feel free to dress casual for this sea shore themed New England style restaurant. Pasts guests praise the seafood here.
7. Tiffins
For an unforgettable meal, go to Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Discovery Island. The art and the mouth watering food are inspired by global dishes around the world.
8. Kona Cafe
Your taste buds will be delighted at Kona Café located at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. A must try on this menu is the Tonga Toast for breakfast (a Banana-stuffed Sourdough French Toast rolled in Cinnamon Sugar and served with a Strawberry Compote).
9. Crystal Palace
Enjoy a buffet with friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood including Winnie the Pooh and friends. Dine inside this restaurant inspired by Victorian greenhouses of the late 1800s with American cuisine. The Crystal Palace is located on Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom. Guests at the restaurant will delight in a special parade with the characters.
10. Akershus
Feel like a princess at Akershus in Norway at Epcot’s World Showcase. Guests will dine in a medieval castle with visits from favorite Story Book princesses such as Snow White, Cinderella and more. Take pictures and meet with the princesses as they make their rounds to your table then join in a Princess Parade around the restaurant. I highly recommend the breakfast here.
