Even though prices seem to continuously rise at Disney World, there are ways to save! Learn these savings hacks for Disney World on a low budget. What is your best savings hack for Disney?
Put Your Vacation On Layaway
Layaways used to be a very popular choice for Christmas shopping, certain stores would allow to put money down and pay the balance over time. While Disney World does not offer its own Layaway program, with time you can create your own layaway! To book a Disney World vacation, a $200 deposit is required (that’s it!). Then the balance needs to be paid in full 45 days prior to arrival date. For vacations a year or 2 out, divide how many months you have to save by the total needed and voila – your own personal layaway number to pay each month. The longer you have to save the lower your “monthly payment” will be!

Shop Dollar Tree
Head to Dollar Tree prior to your vacation and stock up on small items. My favorite items to purchase are the glow sticks, to young children anything that’s new and glows, is fun! Not to mention when the sun goes down in the parks the $20 glow items show up, instead have your $1 item tucked away ready to go! More items to pick up include: hand sanitizer, ponchos, gum (for plane rides), ear plugs (for fireworks) and more.
Stay At A Value Resort
Disney’s Values Resorts give guests all the benefits of staying at a Disney World Resort, at a reasonable price. Plus, the Value Resorts contain some of the most over the top theming.
Another frugal option is to Camp or Rent an RV at Disney World!
Back in 2018, Disney World released Date-Based Pricing for park tickets and new interactive online tools.
Amazon Hack To Save
Use these this Amazon hack to save while at Disney – Use your Amazon balance to purchase Southwest gift cards for those flying. Or save on dining expenses by pre-purchasing gift cards to T-Rex Café, Rainforest Café and Ghiradelli. All these dining options are found on Disney World property. Skip Park Hopper
Park Hopper allows you to enter more than 1 Disney theme park per day, instead ditch this extra expense. There is plenty to do in each park to fill a day! Also consider, taking a mid-day break and then conquering a different area of the same park later in the day. Save hundreds by skipping park hopper!
