Amazon has a program called Subscribe and Save. When you choose select household items, you can choose to have them delivered on a regular basis. You can choose from options as low as 2 weeks to as long as 6 months apart.
What makes this program so great is that they often offer substantial discounts on products when you Subscribe and Save. Sometimes this is extended to you in a brief window when the product is marked down before it resumes regular price. Other times they offer a coupon for a specific amount off when you select Subscribe and Save. I try to post the best deals that I see when they occur.
On top of the discounts, they also offer a flat 5% off just for Subscribing. But you can up that to 15% off everything in your order (usually) when you have 5 or more items. And it is a rolling 15% discount. So as long as you have 5 items in your order before your window closes, you will get 15% off.
The negative is that they do not charge you for your Subscribe and Save item until it ships. So this means you must keep track of what you’ve added to your Subscribe and Save order throughout the month before the date comes for you to be charged.
Amazon does a really great job of explaining the Subscribe and Save program here.
To help you get to 5 items, Amazon has a line of grocery items with pretty competitive pricing for generic brands. You can browse the Happy Belly line here.
I put the Happy Belly Pizza Sauce 15 oz on my Subscribe and Save order to get me to 5 items. It was just $0.78!
I hope this helps you save more!
